Races are dumb asf

Is it a race or is it a death race? If it's a death race why can't I die? What's with the obnoxious ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ music? Why aren't the passengers of the first and fastest car sticking their heads out and shooting at me like everyone else?

Maybe make a few more cool asf side quests instead next time? The game is already fantastic. Why did you pad it out with this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥?

I don't like the fact that CDPR forces you have have Silverhand as the passenger upon completing the side story.

He isn't exactly helping, not to mention that he's getting in the way of a companion that I COULD have to help me.

I found Claire´s races so annoying (mainly for the rubber band effect that is causing only the last few seconds to matter) that I never even tried the other races. Are they the same?

Once you've cleared the side story, then you're going to need a fast car if you want to continue doing races.

Not a super fast car tbh, just a decently fast one with the car hacks. It's hilariously easy to just throw an emergency break or floor it hack on the one car that kept up and watch them spiral off the road.

Driving overall is garbage...

i imagine trying to drive with a keyboard and mouse must suck, sure
if you have a ps5 of xbox, plug a controller in via usb for racing. it has native support

...and uh, yeah, vehicle hacks ftw. make anyone near you slam on the brakes and thats the end of the competition

Keyboard and mouse you just have to pace your speed manually for turns more is all; too many folks going 200+mph and trying to turn a sharp corner only to complain they got cops coming after them for spinning out of control.

Amusingly the vehicle hack one is the only vehicle perk I've bothered to take. The rest don't seem that useful.
