Iconic Quickhacks being weird?

So I was comparing the tier 5 QH's with their Iconic variant, and for at least one that I can recall (Contagion), it doesn't actually state anything improved? I vaguely recall this back when the Phantom Liberty content dropped, and assumed it was a bug and would be patched, but it seems to be the same? When I looked up online, nothing I read seemed to indicate anything about this as a known problem, even implying that it did show an increased boost, when the display says nothing of the sort? Anyone got any info on if there are known problems with these quickhacks, and what the actual data is?

Dont have it myself (yet), but isnt the Database pretty easy to understand?

means 3 instances of Contagion can be applied to a target

In game display when I scroll over the 2 QH's in the crafting screen BOTH say "Stacks 2 times". There is zero text difference anywhere on their descriptions. I even crafted the Iconic just in case it maybe updated the display once I made it, versus the schematic info. No change

in that case, it could be a text-bug.
i recently dropped a smart-machinegun, but the Icon for it look like a low resolution Blop XD
.... minor problems... but they cause confusion.

Can you humor me, and if/when you do get the iconic contagion, could you check and see if you have the same issue?

Yeah, seems to be a text bug. Both have same Information, so a Bug-Report should be made.

(only 3 iconic QH missing)

Are there actually fixed locations for obtaining the iconic QH's? Or is it entirely random drops and random vendor options at netrunner shops?

not entirely sure. Im just doing stuff, look in my Crafting Menu later..... new blueprints. Since my last Comment, i got 2 more iconic QH.
But iam an explorer-type of Gamer. So i dont know if i got it as reward for Tasks or if i just found them.

You get the blueprints from hacking the antennae and wall panels other things. Also the quickhacks themselves and the materials to make them drop from those

If you have blueprints for the tier 5 quickhack, it should give you the iconic blueprint automatically when you are max level, or close to it.

You get the blueprints from hacking the antennae and wall panels other things. Also the quickhacks themselves and the materials to make them drop from those :cybereye:

Already had enough material prepared to craft every iconic QH, that i found (buyed the DLC just a few days ago, when i was pretty far in the main game).
So they just drop by chance when i access a panel? hmm.... kinda lame and worrysome. These panels are out in the open and everyone with a bit of curiosity could get their hands on pretty powerful quickhacks :o

Yes, anyone with your hard-/cyberware and hacking skills could do it, if you want to roleplay that NPCs in the game world could do it

The People in this City would steal from Streetgangs, knowing that they will probably get caught and dismembered..... ofcourse they would poke open networks and grab any Software they can find XD

Yeah I'm currently level 55, and have most of the iconics, but I am missing a few. I want it for my Overclock+Sonic Shock+Synapse Burnout x2 + System Shutdown infinite cycle of RAM. It's not vital I get it, as I can easily afford the cycle as is, but it would be nice to have that extra little bit of RAM to spread out more quickhack queues to more enemies at once.
And yeah the vendor info is weird, because I found other Iconics at other vendors, outside of Dogtown. Not the schematics for them, just the hack itself. The last one the kid in Dogtown had when I went there was....I think Short Circuit? I dunno. I tried letting time pass to reset his stock, but it didn't change. Not sure if there is a minimum timeframe for vendor resets, but it's more than 72 hours at least.
