Inquiry About Offline Play and Compatibility of Cyberpunk 2077

I am planning to purchase a game called Cyberpunk 2077 from Steam, but I want to ensure it meets my requirements before buying it.

We are a wireless communication company, and we plan to test the game at 4K 144Hz with VRR mode enabled. After purchasing, I intend to play the game later in single-player mode, offline on my PC, without requiring a separate Steam login.

However, until I purchase it, I have no way of knowing if this setup will work as intended.

Is there an expert or someone knowledgeable who can confirm this?

I play on xbox and pretty sure if my internet didn't work the game still would. Saves are local.

Yes, it works offline.

The game is DRM free meaning it works offline/no internet without requiring Steam to be open. Just launch the game through the .exe file.

The game is DRM free on GOG (Good Old Game, they are coincidentally the parent company for CDProjekt who made the game), at least. You can play all game offline at any time on GOG.

I think you can also launch CP77 from steam using the exe shortcut without steam. Might be a bit more complex tho.

It works fine offline. And you "intend to play in single-player mode"? As if there's an alternative? ( without mods, the game is single player only )
