What is the point of Ba Xing Chong if there is no NG+?

What is the point of such a weapon if I only get it after the final boss, at which point I already finish everything in the game, and no NG+?
Or does CDPR intend for the players to just ignore most side job and rush to the final boss, so that we will still have use for Ba Xing Chong?
(And currently there is no mod that allow you to transfer weapon to another save/character, the only thing you can do is to just add it with command, which is lame af.)

I agree it doesn't make much sense if you have finished everything in the game. I've never bothered with it myself. I guess if you immediately go back to the Point Of No Return, you will have the gun to use to complete another ending.

Use it for Maxtac at max wanted level I guess, that only end game xD
