I have seen that I can get this at Bucks or Victors, but not sure what I need level wise, street cred wise, stat wise or whatever, they don't have it in stock and not sure if I am not high enough level in something or if I just have to wait for them to get it in stock. Any help would be appreciated.

I could be mistaken, but I don't think there is a special version of the Tetratronic Rippler anymore, since the 2.0 patch. They're all MK 1-5 as you upgrade them, or as you buy them at higher levels.

I started playing after the 2.1 patch, so others will have to confirm, but when I've searched online for best suggested cyberdecks, some of the hits show 'old' cyberdecks with completely different stats than the ones currently in the game, since the 2.0 update to the game did a complete overhaul of them.

you're right, you simply upgrade them. Unfortunately a lot of the guides and tips etc online are still pre-patch so have a lot of wrong information. But I tried upgrading to see what happened and that is what works. Thanks for the tip, I don't know that I would have done that without your comment.

You're welcome. Upgrading or simply buying the higher level ones when they become available (to save upgrade components) will give the cyberdecks more features and RAM capacity etc.

But there are some high level cyberdecks that will only be available at certain ripperdocs in Night City, same with cyberware. But if you have the DLC, they can all be bought from all ripperdocs in Dogtown once you're lvl 40.

I just found the Netwatch Netdriver Mk I (tier 5/iconic) during a gig, so that's apparently still a thing too, though I don't know if it's from the base game or PL (found outside the PL area, but that doesn't mean much).
Haven't checked if it's one you can also buy in Dogtown, but it probably is.
