Playing first time: Should I buy the DLC right away?

I don't want to spoiler myself too much, so I stopped watching a review about the DLC and thought it might be better to just ask here.

I haven't played Cyberpunk yet and I'm about to buy it. My question is, should I buy the DLC right away, because I will miss new mechanics, items, areas, etc. or is it more like the Witcher 3 DLCs where you start a chapter on its own and can be easily purchased at a later point in the playthrough?

i would suggest you buy it later after you have tried the base game and see if you like it.

I suggest buying the bundle.

If you end up hating the base game, refund everything in 2 hours. However, if you enjoy the base game, you will also like the DLC.

the expansion is designed to sit alongside the base games content and takes place at the same time as the base games story lines. its not a traditional post game expansion.
