When does the discount will goes above 50%?
I'm already tired of waiting, but it always 50% off on and on again.
Should i wait until 2077 to get the game dirt cheap like when i've bought The Witcher 3?

How and why do you expect ordinary forum posters have what is likely internal company information regarding future sales and discount plans?

We don’t know because how could we?

This is why the wishlist function here on Steam exists; you get an automatic notification when a game you want goes on sale.

edit: Your other option is to get it on Epic when they hold their mega sale or season sale. 50% discount + use the free Epic coupon = >50% discount.

If you don’t use or won’t use Epic then you’ll simply have to wait in the line like everybody else.

I think it will be longer than that for Cyberpunk 2......................5-6 years I am thinking.

how are we supposed to know, but as long as the game is still selling then you wont see crazy discounts.

If 50% off during the current sale isn't enough of a discount for you, get used to waiting. I don't think you want to play this game very badly.

Didn't this guy post the same thing a few months ago? There was another dude who kept making posts about how he wants something like a 90% discount and referencing how he got Witcher for almost nothing at all. I only remember because every time I check this forum, usually months apart, I see this exact same subject pop up.

It just sounds super unreasonable to subject yourself to so much waiting just because you want to save another 10 or 20 dollars when you're already going to be saving about 30ish. At what point do you follow this to the logical conclusion and start demanding a free copy?

If they haven't gone to discounts of that scale thus far then they probably wont at all. If that does happen it will be because the sequel is releasing and they want to entice people to spending a few more dollars on the original as well. Kind of like "hey whilst your purchasing this vacuum cleaner, how would you feel about a 2 dollar pack of gum?" kind of thing. Impulse purchase.

I am with you on this.I initialy thought on whaiting, until PL is also reduced 50% ,but than felt kind of dumb .Its on sale, compleate and reasonably priced now,so i got the UE .

Cyberpunk + Phantom Liberty are currently at 51 euros. In my opinion this is worth every penny. You are getting weeks and weeks of content. Assuming you will do everything in the game, especially the achievements. Think about it

lmao do people not know how to search the net https://steamdb.info/app/1091500/ shows its never gone past 50% here have fun 26k players playing rn compared to starfield which has 6k on steam

Best you could probably do is go to SteamDB and check out Witcher 3's discount history, to see how CDPR has done it in the past. Of course, with CP having that extended "fix it" phase before PL came out, it probably won't follow exactly the same pattern.

Starfield's all-time peak was never even able to reach half of Cyberpunk 2077's numbers either, according to SteamCharts

Please don't turn this into Cyberpunk vs. Starfield, or anything else. In other words, stay on topic.
