No option in mirror to change appearance ?
Okay so my save is from 2020, in the appartment the game informs me I can change my appearance using mirrors from a previous patch (didn't play since 2021 though), but there's no option to change anything, just smile etc. etc.

Did I miss something ?

Ripperdocs give you a facelift now.

I've heard about this, but, the mirror is no use now ? Why did I see the tutorial about the mirrors ? They forgot to change it after an update ?

Sorry if these are dumb questions, but much has changed since the release date, I tried to keep up with the updates but missed a lot lately.

Don't remember all the changes from 1.6x - those were massive as well. You might want to check the changelog from 2.0 only. Basically everything was changed.

That one bit from the mirror could've been from a time where they allowed changing hair / nails / colors. But now with 2.0 you can change the whole character appearance.

Best to learn the game anew - it really is a different experience now :steamhappy:

Need a fresh game install.

Okay, so, kind of weird but for some reason, loading my old save (from early 2021), a few things remained just like they were back then: V was sleeping sideways (good old release days), and mirrors didn't allow me to change hairs and stuff, also, the clothes rack wasn't working either.

After a manual save, reloading the save, fixed all the above.

Gonna miss sleeping sideways, ngl.

Not ALL mirrors allow it.
Were you in your apartment?
Or just some random bathroom?

My appartment, but I figured the reason why (sorta).

Answer's just above, it might be useful to others who didn't play the game after the few months following the release.

Loading an old save is asking for problems.

Delete all the old data,
Do a clean install,
Start over.

Something is not right in there then. I can change hair, makeup and some things on the mirror and full customization at ripperdocs, just fine.

I've read about the recommendations from CD Projekt and was hesitant, I've played full stealth on my first (and only playthrough) and my savefile is virtually 100% complete with +300hrs, I really wanted to continue with this one, asking on the forums, most people said there was no real harm to do so, except missing on the various QOL upgrades and a few new lines in the main campaign.

That glitch was a bit weird though, kind of make my question my decision, but I'll try. If anything weirder happens, I'll make a post around.
