Nope, she sounds consistent literally in the endings when she's closer to death than in Phantom Liberty. The audio mixing quality is a huge step below than the base game.
It's everywhere all of female V's PL lines and I would say a significant portion of Solomon Reed.
I think CDPR should've utilized AI to help with the sound mixing/editing to make it more consistent with the base game.
go watch an interview with her and you'll see how she normally sounds :P
the only voice that was different was Milogost Reczek (Victor Vector) in the polish dub of the game as the actor died and CDPR used AI to recreate his voice.
I'm not a sound expert, but it's lacking bass... it sounds to me they didn't use a professional grade mic, and the voice comes off with a bit of static.
I actually noticed most with some of Alex's lines. Sounded very muddy. But, like I said, if you can isolate a few examples for CDPR to review then send them in and ask if it's intentional.
Sounds a little like old, low bandwidth MP3s...
I guess CDPR did a lot of recording during covid, but even then they could've helped improve quality by shipping over professional grade mics, soundproofing materials, and guidance on how to set it all up.
Phantom Liberty is great but the poor audio really drags it down and ruins immersion.
