Overclock is in the Intelligence tree. I have no body on my Netrunner.
But yeah, use gorilla arms, and some of the boosters you've probably be hoarding.
You flatout can't counter some of your opponents though because you still take damage. For instance the 6th street dude with a cyberarm. If you try to block to get counters, he'll win the fight in 2 to 3 punches, same thing with the animal chick.
The best way is to stun lock them, by pushing them when they go for a punch, and then hitting them.
Other people have already said it, but the healing/health/adrenaline rush you get from Body synergizes perfectly with Overclock. If you're not going Intelligence/Body you're losing out on a ton of potential RAM.
So? If enemies can't locate you and you get RAM via Takedowns with the Arasaka Deck there really is no need to burn HP.
There are plenty of reasons why builds would use Overclock in lieu of getting up close and personal.
Netrunners can be stealthy, weaponless, go loud, any number of things.
Your specific build doesn't invalidate other builds that don't play like you do. Nobody said it's the only way to play but Body gives you the most extra RAM to work with, and would very much help the OP with the fights and that's just a fact.
Not everybody plays like you, and that's OK.
But let me respond differently: Yeah, no s***, that was the whole point of my reply, to say that there are ways to play Netrunner without needing Overclock or even the extra HP from Body.
You can absolutely lose the attitude, because it's not necessary at all.
Body is an excellent choice for any Netrunner and more to the point, it would help the OP with the fights that are the point of this thread.
I'm not here to get into some weird pissing match with you because you misinterpreted the tone of my posts, so that's all I'll say on the subject.
