How many of Muamar's car jackings does it take to be able to buy new cars?

I already got a sizable discount on his cars and did dozens of car jackings already but I can buy barely if any new cars which are supposed to unlock by doing these missions. So, how many of those do you have to do to unlock new cars to buy?

it should say if you hover over the car at the car selling kiosks

idk if its a bug or intended but the discount only works once, so if you say do 5 missions - i got 1 discount then prices went back to 100% - had to do another mission for another discount. (couldnt buy 2 cars in a row with discount even tho id done like 5 car deliveries)

wouldnt be surprised if a few are still bugged

Where am I supposed to hover the mouse over to get this information? It just says "Unlock by completing more vehicle contracts for Muamar" but not how many I have to do or are left to do. Hovering over the car in the selection screen also doesn't show anything.

yeah noticed on my save it doesnt show anything anymore either. either its behind a specific vehicle, mission or # of cars stolen. reading from this website:

Either way this needs to get patched imo. This is janky at best and buggy at worst but either way not fun right now. Unlocking cars should be a rewarding experience. It being random just takes away any feeling that you achieved something by doing these missions.

It takes 15 to unlock all the cars. Saw someone in another post mention this.

I also stumbled onto a bug. It says that I've bought the Quadra Type-66 "Wingate" (although I don't remember buying it) but it doesn't show in my car inventory.

Edit: Yeah, definitely bugged - I just reloaded an older save, tried to buy the Wingate again and it still won't show in my car inventory.

Tbh, I really don't understand how they could possibly muck this up - unlockables like this should be the easiest way to add a bit of fun content but they kinda made an almost guaranteed W into an L. Should be simple fun - ends up being a frustratingly nebulous (and buggy) grind. I don't get it.

I didn't have any trouble getting it. I have every car available on the autofixer. You get a discount for every ride you turn in, and they stack until you buy a car and then they're all spent on that single purchase. I did 2 runs then bought a car for most the more expensive ones, and just straight up bought all the cheaper ones. For the few very expensive ones I did even a few more runs on top.

By any chance do you remember how many cars do I need to steal just to unlock the Wingate?

Seems like this is fixed in the 2.1 update. Nothing is locked anymore and anything you got though the console is properly unlocked in the shop, so that's good. I would say I did about 15 and when I got on last week I was able to purchase every motocycle without issue, and clear out shop.

Currently in patch 2.12 it's 14 jobs to unlock all cars. Just did it yesterday.

I bought the Hellhound and it gave me a small SUV.-..
