no relic ?
You can dynamically go close-quarter combat or ranged stealth Netrunning or both in any situation, depends on how you wish to play.
For example I have a Monowire installed, but basically never use it since it's lethal;

But if I wanted to use it, all it takes is just taking it out and start whipping enemies ^^
You can only equip control quickhacks on monowire, so stuff like cripple movement and disabling cyberware, or the reboot optics. And yeah, it's only one quickhack on the monowire.
The advantage is you can pretty much spam upload crowd control quickhacks while whipping away. Personally I'd put Cyberware Malfunction on it and permanently cripple enemies just for fun.
It should be. They appear when I go to the link. Jailbreak, Data Tunneling, Vulnerability Analytics and Machine Learning are selected.
Well the Attributes themselves do not affect weapon damage beyond unlocking Perks, so you can dip into other forms of combat alongside netrunning and I dare say the former can enable a lot of crazy damage numbers due to the debuffs they bring to the table. Point of fact my netrunner is Body, INT and TECH 20, Cool 4 and Reflex 3 I mix it up with a Yinglong, Breaktrhough, Baton and Monowire just fine.
Now in my experience in Patch 2.0, the Monowire is the Netrunner's boss boxing weapon. If you note, virtually all the RAM restoration perks are contingent on your neutralizing an enemy. Essentially it blood magic.
But what happens when you go up against a cyber psycho and have no mobs to fuel your RAM recovering. You fire off Overlock and try to overwhelm them with blood bump fueled RAM.
But what if that isn't enough; Enter the Monowire. With the correct perk, you regain 1 RAM per hit, not kill. So rather than having to retreat from say Adam Smasher, you can stand and trade with him to recoup RAM or wait for Overlock to cool down, then start your quick hack rotation again. Though in my experience, if you drop the correct debuffs on him, like Cripple Movement and Cyberware Malfunction, he's unlikely to survive the first rotation.
Monowire is not a dead end but rather a useful part of the Netrunner's kit; Its the fallback option when you've burnt through all your RAM.
