Cool Beans
so always work with netwatch, you also learn that the VB are expecting a war between mankind and the AI, and are already on the side of the AI and want to work for them, that is, want to help destroy mankind, according to the motto "the main thing is that we survive".
Or side with Voodoo so you can kill everyone, violate their entire church in their god’s name
The AI's are just as bad if not worse than Corpos. One day people are going to see there are no good options.
Those sumbitches are going down.
Yes, if you side with the netboi, Alt fries the lot of them to be on the safe side. (can't say I blame her, considering how netwatch has been hunting her digital arse for nearly 5 decades)
If you side with the Voodoo's, you can just walk away while giving Mamon Brigitte a tiny bit of snark (just don't go too far, of you will get into a fight)
My main V does that. Not because they are right, but to prove to Alt that V can be trusted. (Alt made a bargain, so V's sticking to it) and while I personally know that the moment they get what they wanted, they will send gangoons after V's arse to flatline you on the principle that V is still just a 'ranyon- a floor-rag' to them... My main V is still a little naive about working with them.
Or you can just snark up Brigitte and ghost the whole upper heirachy.
And get Placide's coat. Tho it looked less badarse on a femV than on a guyV (different mesh iirc)
But, the best part about walking away is....you don't have to do anything.
If you go to Pacifica before a certain quest with Judy happens (a holocall...you will know which one I think) you can get a quest to fix the rollercoaster.
(You can fix it later, but its only a visible quest before that one Judy event, vanishes after, unless 2.0 changed it)
There are a couple of chilled out locals sitting there at the coaster, talking about getting it fixed. They will talk to you, all three lifepaths get a line here for a change.
Once you fix it, you can ride the coaster with Johnny (one of my fave moments tbh)
If you did this quest, then come back later after walking out peacefully...
Well, the last guy sitting there has some....interesting rumours about things.
Boils down to the fact that no ones seen the higher ups or netrunners for a while.
Church is still open, but the back door to their den is closed.
Looks like they got what they wanted..... Just not the WAY they wanted....lol.
And all sorts of talk is going round Pacifica... Many folks are getting devout all of a sudden.
how do u get the coaster mission? i have ovwer 100 hours in the game and have to get it. i have heard about it but was thinking it was a myth because i can't seem to find it for some reason
