Controller help
The game is unplayable on pc with a controller. All of my in game hours have been trying to tune it to a playable state with zero luck. Does anyone have any steam controller config / in game controller config settings that will make the gunplay playable? I liked this game on xbox and I dont understand how the controller settings could be this bad on pc.

Controllers suck tbh, not sure why you'd cling to one in an fps game but maybe theres some settings you need to tweak?

I am not a primary controller player, but you have in setting windows os same as for mouse slider like option for speed and responsivnes. And special'y if you have xbox controller.
you would have probably even more options cos xbox and win os almost same thing.

I normally respect people's opinion regarding k&m vs controller but since you mentioned that controller suck, I'm gonna just dump my opinion on this too. For me, other than that (and the ability to have way more key bindings), controller is so much superior to k&m because it is designed specifically to play games whereas you can literally destroy your wrists playing on k&m over extended period of time because of the unnatural position and posture.
And this isn't even a FPS. It's an action RPG with shooting done in FPS. There a lot of driving and I can't fathom how awful it must be to drive using WASD, and movement in general with a keyboard just sucks.
Its not about a competitive advantage... I came from the Xbox 360 to PC many years ago, I spent the majority of my gaming life on a controller and I understand the confusion when switching. But over time Mouse and Keyboard have become far more easy to use, far more precise, and far less taxing on your hands/fingers (Elden Ring is a good example of something designed for controllers in a way that is not ergo-dynamic, having one finger for two buttons causing the requirement of a weird grip nicknamed the curled finger) In my opinion controllers are indeed better only for driving mechanics and for couch co-op with friends...

Try this, I found a few people suggesting this setup and many people praising it. I think I had a similar setup when the game launched but deleted the game a year ago and recently reinstalled it for when 2.0/PL comes out. My settings got reset so I needed to look this up as well. I just googled "cyberpunk 2077 controller cod" and got this or close to this on reddit and other sites.

I've played the game for 100 hours using a DS5 (PS5) controller and never had any issue. What's the problem you have with it? I didn't play the game on consoles so I don't know how is the controlling feels different but it should be identical in theory.

Can you use the PS5 Gyro for aiming on the PC version? I bought the game, found out there's no ADS toggle. Now it's either I try it with my PS5 controller on the PC or get a refund.
