DLC is much shorter than a main campaign which was already TOO SHORT

Honestly when i reached the final mission I was shocked about how short this game was.
technically the shortest campaign I'd ever seen in an Open World game.

Now the DLC is on the way. as you know DLC is always shorter than the main campaign.
So just imagine how short this will be, regarding a campaign that can be finished in 4 hours...(If you skip the boring cutscenes)

I'm assuming the main missions in DLC won't have more than 2 hours gameplay.

I have a feeling this DLC will be "too little too late" with CDPR, yet again, taking advantage of people who preordered on a promise. $30 for "an expansion" for a game that historically did not deliver?

What does preordering have to do with anything? Game has been out for years. ALL preorders in 2020 were offered a refund for like a month.

The 2.0 update is free.

Expansion has no preorder bonus so just... wait for reviews.

The main story setup in CP is pretty brillant.

The core main quest is pretty short. That way people with short attention span can play through it without getting bored (there were actually quite a lot of people complaining that the main story in TW3 is too long).
In CP you can play through the main story in about 20 hours ( or maybe even 4h, if you skip all the... story in this story driven rpg). This will get you to the default ending, 'The Devil'.

But on top of this there are plenty of OPTIONAL side quests, and many of those link in to the main story line and unlock different endings. This way you can easily get 150 hours out of one playthrough (my second one was 200h).

I really wish more devs would do it this way.

Oh, and regarding the length of the DLC: We'll know in a few weeks.

I am pretty sure you can preorder the DLC. Otherwise how would it allegedly be on 24th spot of most popular purchases recently?
Did sales of base game ever reached the preorder period when they sold like 10milion copies?

Main game was apparently around 24 hours in length, so if the DLC is around 12 that would be perfect. Quality over quantity always.

Good thing game is not just main story then. If you are the kind of guy who only plays for story, skips scenes, plays on easy difficulty and fast travels everywhere, then that's your problem and most of the games will feel short. Maybe try linear story focused games instead of open world?
