'Dog Eat Dog' Quest: Chute Blocked

Evening. The first part of the Dogtown/Phantom Liberty add-on seems to be bugged for me. After getting to the roof following Songbird's instructions, and watching (sigh) "Space Force One" crash into Dogtown, I run for the yellow debris chute which as far as I can see is the only way to progress the quest - but it won't let me drop, fall or jump down it. I can see down it, but it's blocked by some invisible lid and no matter how I bounce around on it, nothing I do will let me drop down that chute.

And to my knowledge, attempting any other route down off the roof platform will result in death.

Has anyone else run into this? I've tried reloading saves further and further back, per general instructions online for other locked-up quests, but no-one's mentioned this exact issue and I don't know how far back I might need to reload. Would appreciate any suggestions.

There should be a dialogue option when you're near it, saying something like 'jump down' or something, then a cutscene should start where you drop down and go through the chute. You can't simply jump or drop down 'manually'.

So if that interactive option doesn't show up, I'm not sure how to solve it.

Thanks for the reply, Bjørn, and apologies for the delay acknowledging it. I appreciate the tip. That option didn't appear for me, but I assume it was a glitch of some sort. I ended up reloading a much earlier save and that seemed to clear the problem.
