It’s not the best video game ever. Skyrim still did a better job of making an open world rpg where you can actually rpg. But the game is good for what it is. I’ll give credit where it’s due. Hopefully in the next game, they take notes from the previously mentioned title if an rpg is what they actually want.

I like this game too, genuinely one of the best (And favorite game) of the 2020s so far. On my third playthrough and I don't feel like stalling anytime soon.

I disagree, Cyberpunk 2077 passes as an RPG as much as Skyrim does. One has a sandbox experience while the other has a railroaded one. And they both excel in what they respectively do.

The panam missions are probably my favourite ones during replays ^^

I really like her character and the Aldecaldos plus she has some fun missions imo.

And yeah Cyberpunk is my new favourite game. I didn't expect it to be this good.

Yeah, I can't even be bothered to play any other game right now. I was supposed to have completed a few other single player story games, but 2077 took me by surprise.
It's definitely the best game I ever played on PC.

I'll have to come back to my other games maybe by the end of the year.
I left Deathstranding, stranded mid way because of Cyberpunk.

I love it. Super sad no more DLCs are coming down the pipeline, but I am excited for Orion.

Best game ever? Perhaps, at least in my subjective opinion. Only game I like better is Kingdom Come: Deliverance. I imagine KCD2 will soon be my favorite, but CP2077 is definitely close second or third.

In the most recent CDPR earning call they didn't rule out more DLC and/or Expansion for CP2077, due in part to success of 2.0 and PL.

This game actually got me and my friends interested into the Cyberpunk TTRPG, we even played two games of Cyberpunk Red before quitting so we could wait for the Edgerunners supplement (2077 content). Since that is planned to come out within the next 1-2 months, unless a delay happens, you could give the TTRPG a try?

While the vanilla game isn't my favorite game in the world, it still ranks in my top 25 favorite games to play. Modded goes way higher and is in my top 10 favorite games to play.

I've definitely gotta get started on my current playthrough, as I've mostly just been tweaking reshade to my liking for this game as of late, and not playing much, plus playing other games for a bit.

It's gonna be fun when I return to the game though :D.

Played thru Ps4/ps5.. From Release to 1.31 and patches after did really good.

PC, 2.0... Meh. Alot of Changes I can not stand. I want revert on some of them, and LOVE some of changes. Such a mix bag now.
Perk system is filled with hit a enemy, and have insert seconds for damage.. I just wanna shoot stuff. And some of them are required fillers to get other perks. And your stuck with effects that kick in mid combat with stupid sounds.

Loss of Clothing Mods.. they nerfed it to ground. Got it in a good spot slot count wise. They just had to open leg/chest/helm limits and it would have been balanced with new low slot count. Clothing is pretty easy find what you want... and your done.
They took out one of loot/grind of game. And it wasn't even bad.

Net Runner Trace System... I can not stand it. Yes it was OP before 2.0. When you use it for "fun" its countered now in a unfun way.
Mods have undone alot of 2.0 changes.. Not as Happy as I was during 1.31 and later patches.

2.0 is Great... only cause Mods can undo some of bad design changes.
Thou to be fair... I played ps4 Disc version with no Updates.. and Day 1 Patches and watched CDPR Turn game around.
I just wish they had stopped before 2.0..

i love 2077. played it though multiple times. best game ever tho? objectivley i somewhat feel obligated to say that World of Warcraft is the best purely based off time i sunk into it from 2004-2015. i don't think any other game, even the ones i consider my faves of all time have that kind of time investment sunk into them.

Superlatives are silly. All I know is that with well over 4000 hours of play, I'm still not done with it. Gonna put it on the shelf for a while, play a few other games...but I'm already looking forward to getting into it again.

I've played great games and fantastic games, including this one, but never a best game.

A game may be the best in one or more specific area (e.g. story, combat, or music), but no game is an overall best for me. There are simply too many aspects for anything to be the best in all of them.
