user profile corrupt

I.ve tried reaching out to cdpr and no luck. tried twice. I've searched these forums and still no luck. I can't save, I can't start a new game and save that file and I can't delete my cloud files. What in THE ♥♥♥♥ am I supposed to do? Anyone else find a fix? There should be a ton of people with similar experiences?

Can't say I ever experienced this, but you could try;

• Click on your Windows icon and type &localappdata%
  
• Then go to ...\AppData\Local\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077
  
• Delete the UserSettings.json file and see if it works.

If it doesn't, then another thing you can try which will also entirely clear out your Steam Cloud is;

• Go to C:\Users\---Your Windows Profile Name---\Saved Games\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077\
  
• Copy-paste everything from there to your Desktop temporarily
  
• Launch the game through Steam
  
• Once the Launcher is up, delete everything except steam_autocloud.vdf from the mentioned location
  
• Quit the launcher to let Steam Cloud wipe its data and then try launching the game again to see if it works

So upon arriving at C:\Users\---Your Windows Profile Name---\Saved Games\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077\ I discovered it was empty. no saved games folder. I performed a search and discovered my saved games folder was placed in my mouse pointer settings folder. (Often when I play flat screen to VR games, my inputs sometimes affect the desktop and can wreak havoc on my folder system and do things like copy one folder to another.) I restored the saved games folder to its original location and that solved the problem! thank you!
