XeSS with sharpening makes the game look a lot better
Super sampling set to Ultra Quality and sharpness set to 1. Chromatic aberration off.

Looks much less blurry.

Sorry, but it still doesn't come close to DLSS. Just sayin...

DLSS is better, but it's not a massive difference from what I've seen.

Nothing is better compared to native resolution. but if u have an old pc then dlss or fsr is better then xess.

That's cause you're making the game run better, by making the game look worse. Does nobody understand why they made DLSS right after RT?
I mean, it downscales your visuals to a lower resolution, and then upscales it to wherever you set your resolution to. I'm pretty sure that most of us know this by now.

It still doesn't change the fact that DLSS is better at doing that than XeSS.

Personally, I don't care about the quality loss, as I'm used to lower resolution anyways, so I have no qualms about using a super sampler.

I have the same experience.

Playing on a GTX1660ti enabling XESS with sharpening let my game look perfect now. The rest of the artifacts / blurriness is completely gone, its amazing.

yep, my conclusions too. fsr has that shimmery anti aliasing issue in this particular game. though if you have a nvidia rtx card then dlss is the way to go, obviously.

Maybe. Is FSR working this week, or is it bugged again?
