Report a translation problem
A clean install means "as if you installed it for the very first time"... when a program does a clean install it starts by removing EVERYTHING and a regular uninstall of a game usually doesn't do that. If you modded the game and did an uninstall make sure the mod did not leave remnants of itself in stuff like your screenshot or savegame folders (because stuff like screenshots, user settings and saved game usually don't get removed when you uninstall from steam)
From what I can tell by reading Vortex it's simply a plugin mod so without further mods it shouldn't even change anything about the vanilla game at all...so no; it shouldn't matter but we won't know how vortex will affect the DLC until it is released....
