But it means giving up version 2.0+
You go to your library in steam, right click the cyberpunk 2077 there and select 'properties'
Look for 'betas' in the box that comes up on screen and select '1.63 Legacy' there and opt in.
Your game will revert to the last version before 2.0 dropped.
(Back up your saves ect, use Cyberclean to remove all mods if you installed them, BEFORE you move back)
You will get no official support if things go wrong. You loose access to achievements. You loose access to Phantom Liberty.
But you can still play the old version.
*edit
if you have the space, you can also first move the whole contents of the Cyberpunk2077 folder to a safe place (your 2.0+ version) and then roll back to the legacy 1.63 version.
Cyberpunk2077 works via the .exe file no matter where it is (if it's whole)
i have a small ssd *just* for my cyberpunk copies.
i have 1.61 (modded) and 1.63 Legacy (vanilla) saved there, with their .exe shortcuts on my desktop for if/when i want to play the old versions.
i also have a backup of my current version (2.02 modded) there for if i add a mod that messes up my install.
however, you need to remember that the save's are in a different place.
you can make back up copies of your save file, but don't just copy them in the save folder.
cyberpunk will see those copies too, even if you put them inside a new folder.
i go up one folder, make a new folder and name it (the name of the V i am playing) then copy the 'manual save - number- ' into that folder.
the game wont 'see' those there, so they are safe.
What you mean? Net runner builds are still considered to be one of if not the most powerful builds in the game.
I recommend looking up some online build guides if you want to build a powerful netrunner again, maybe you're just not all that use to the new balancing and skills yet? I don't really know, but it is still some hyper powerful stuff.
netrunner is op as f
