so do the unique cyber ware no longer have to be hunted down?
what about the one ripper you can get a 20% discount from? dose he become the best simply due to lower cost?

To answer the OP, on a strictly numbers basis, yes Charles Bucks retains his discount feature if you choose to utilize it, so outside of Dogtown he's potentially the cheapest ripperdoc.

BUT, you can find cyberware pieces occasionally on bodies, in lootables, and in airdrops and IIRC it costs nothing to slot or swap chrome you already own

He gives you free Kiroshi, NCPD scanner that pays for itself in an hour, and a new grip for your hand. Vic does this with:
- no time limit
- no interest
- no collateral
- no blackmail
- no strings
- doesn't even joke about it or bully you

He actually f***ing cares about your well being. A doc like that is something most people never see a single example of in their entire lifetime. I will always pay the man back.

Fingers is actually not an evil person. By most standards, he is an ugly guy. A guy that has probably been ignored, laughed about or even abused because of his poor looks. Now this guy has the one chance get his hands (fingers) at relatively good looking women. Who can blame him for taking advantage? Besides, it is not like he would not help the girls. Even if his chrome is not top notch, he still gets it to work somehow. Otherwise he would not have more customers waiting than most other ripperdocs.
So he can get his hands on attractive women and the women get chrome that they could otherwise not afford. It is a win-win, I would say.

Fingers is a MONSTER. He's literally a serial rapist who makes 'patients' do horrendous sexual things so he will chip them with the chrome they need to stay alive. The ones who wont, cant, or aren't offered sex he literally sells as both meat and chrome. He is among the most vile people encountered in a game filled with vile people. My only regret is he snuffs it after only a single punch.
He deserves much worse and there is no excuse in any capacity for his abhorrent choices, and if you genuinely sympathize with him, you very truly need to talk to someone you trust about what youre going thro.

Let us ignore for a moment that he gives you 3 implants worth 1.407 eddies each and expects you to pay a bill of 20k. So you basically pay a little less than 16k for an NCPD scanner and a virus swipe. What are friends for?

I do not think there is evidence for what you are saying. The one that did horrible things to Evelyn was Woodman, not Fingers. He aparently tried to fix her, but failed. It was also not Fingers that sold Evelyn to the XBD Scavs.

and with fingers contextual clues my man, the game dose right out say Tyger claws rape kids...but they do
but i dont want this topic to turn into a philosophical debate about wither or not Fingers is a bad guy or not just wanted to know if my boy bucks was the best prices, even if he is an ass hat
and yes i know you can get free cyberware, but 9/10 its not something i need or want XD
