In any case, just giving feedback after testing it.
Might look impressive at a first glance but I grew tired of all these players flexing their 4000+ bucks pcs...showcasing ♥♥♥♥ only a handfull can experience.
Also the most laughable thing about all these videos is that it's not even Cyberpunk you feel like you are looking at. It's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ walking and car/bike simulator.
Look at all these modders and their RTX 40XX series reshades showcasing only modded " RTX MIRROR CARS" and calling it a day (Nexusmods is full of them).
They practically never show photomode with V, or even real gameplay with dialogs and combat sequences.
All in all, all these videos are copy pastes and bring absolutely nothing concrete but a "grey/white lightning washed out Color experience" .
I mean, go outside....look at the weather, the sky and how light behaves during a sunny and a bad weather day. If you are bathed in white sun light then you might experience real life RTX reshade......or meet your creator.
Cheers!
Env, textures, lod enchancements are all fine. LUTs on the other hand seem to almost universally just make the game washed out. Sure in certain conditions the game might look more realistically color graded, but overall everything is far more washed out specially if you're ever able to compare side to side with vanilla really to the point where it just doesn't feel like cp2077 anymore. But yea LUTs would 100% be a personal preference choice, the rest is a matter of if you can handle the performance hit.
The thing about photorealistic graphics is that it has an effect of neutering a game’s art style. I am in no way saying the game looks ugly with this mod on but it does dull the vibrancy that is associated with the Cyberpunk genre.
Personally, I use the Nova Pure LUT with NCLM and it looks pretty good without it washing out the colors. The HD Reworked mod is good for overhauling all the low resolution textures.
I noticed rain was deployed to wet her skin so as to bring out the detail on her face. I wonder what she'd look like when dry.
Imho, these mods are really cool but I don't think I'd ever use them myself for actual game play, as I personally feel they start to take away from the surreal magic of artistic approach of the city itself. Great for cinematic exhibition though!
I wonder why they speed up the driving parts too. Is it to compensate for low frame count, since it's in 8k? Or for dramatic effect?
Very cool stuff. Not for me, but it does look cool. Thanks for sharing, Fret!
No thanks, A lot of 'free' mods can approach a similar level. I'm using the whole GITS package and that's more than good enough for me.
Like a movie teaser, reality isn't that great :
Low framerate and stutters
Low resolution and blur
...
The moment the sunlight appears and the sky is supposed to be blue the highlight tones just look blown out and everything looks too bright and full of bloom.
In addition to that the HDR is waaay off and I would rather have good looking graphics with good HDR tones instead of having this mess so I can have cinematic graphics only when the weather is overcast.
