its like Linus Torvalds does not have every nexus.mods author on the kernel email list. And here is the micro problem. cdpr updates a 1kb update, 20,000 dependancies fail with the absence of a qualified code jockey our diy bedrooml/by the/or not all hired by the hour casual mod author can be bothered with before they fracture another game with a dumb engine, meanwhile 300hr game save is gone until community CET builds a fork from the git or convince cdpr to fully open redmod.

It's very unlikely that there will be any more major patches to this game, aside from the occasional bugfix. if you are trying to start a new game with old saves and mods, I suggest you simply delete all your mods and saves and start a new game from scratch. In the last couple of major patch updates, all the foundational mods like CET were updated within 24 hours. CDPR is _not_ responsible for problems you encounter with 3rd-party mods.
