what is the diff between starting with PL?
i'm about to buy cyberpunk in the next steam sale but i want to know if the game is way better with phantom liberty or I can wait cause it's the DLC doesn't impact the "vanilla" game?

Phantom Liberty is a major branching of the main game...the story of PL is a big addition, but it doesn't start until you've progressed a fair way into the main game. I would say it's totally worth it, but I would also advise you to play the base game through and experience a few of the endings before you jump into PL. Perhaps you should get into the base game first...if by the time you get past Act 1 you're hooked, then all Phantom.

TL:DR -- You don't need it right away, but you'll probably want it if you like the base game.

DLC integrates fairly seamlessly into the main game. It's not a separate thing.

It does add things that could be considered OP, but in this game you become OP without it anyway past L40 or so.

None. You can of course bring back weapons and skills you get in the DLC back into the main game area, but nothing at all changes outside that.

PL is the best part of the game.
Contrary to what Mei said:steamfacepalm:, yes, there are new skill branches, so the gameplay varies a little for the better.

Name 1 that isn't inside the DLC.
