WTH is up with this game?
Brand new computer, Alienware Ryzen Aurora 14 and I still can't get this game to play, I had heard there were a lot of bugs but that they'd been fixed. I literally had 3 hours of game play and now it won't even load up.

it WAS fixed, until patch 1.62 was released.
Most of the probs are caused by Mods and the rest is just unlucky with their system.
Try to update your Windows, check Defender and AV and also check your GPU driver.
If this is not helping, beg for a fix or try to refund the game.

The game is running fine on all my systems that don't have mods. But I even just got it working again on my system that has mods. Therefore, it is fixed and running well.
Make sure you have all your computer programs updated. Especially, Windows 11. I'm really not happy that I upgraded because ever since I upgraded to Windows 11 I've had lots of issues.

Oh yea, Windows 11 is a big mess for gamers, cause of that Windows 10 will be the new Windows 7 in 2025 :-)

I literally just bought this PC a month ago, I didn't even have an option to get Windows 10. and unless the Mods are installed automatically, I don't have any. I uninstalled the program and reinstalled it last night and am still having issues with it.

Win10 is just Win7 with Telemetric data collection on everything you do.
Win7 will still be the Win7 of 2025.

No, u didn't understand the joke. MS had a lot of trouble to get the ppl to the point to upgrade from Windows 7 to 10. Main reasons were the Performance Issues and the Unstable games at the beginning of Windows 10. Specially the Non-DX12 games were running a lot better on Windows 7 than on Windows 10. And you see the same again with Windows 11.

And by the way, Windows 10 is technically far away to be the same like Windows 7. The system core is very different. Windows 7 is based on Vista, while Windows 10 is based on Windows 8!

At what point exactly is the game crashing? Launcher or during startup or during load?

There are things you can try, but need more info. It is not Windows however, as many are on Win 11 and never had a single issue with the game launching, myself included. Prior to that I was on Win 10 without any issues as well.

I have serious problem my path tracing in photo mode option is greyed out today what happened was there a patch today?

The launcher loads up, as soon as I click on Play, it blanks out like it's going to run the game and then gives me a crash error.
