to think OP thought they could get away with such an inquiry without answering that question
:D
may someone provide the answer ONLY AFTER OP answers the question
It's always been jarring to me and I'm extreme cases would induce goosebumps.
I understand I am in the minority and it is a non-issue for most people but I'd very much like to to avoid V's shadow if possible.
An example;

There are still a few bugs left with V's shadows, such as;

But at least that cyberware eyesore is gone. They did acknowledge these issues, so they might fix it with 1.7 update.
If you do end up making that mod though, know that I'll be first in line to try it.
Cheers.
ok fair enough - the shadow animations ARE often janky. I dunno about goosebumps-inducing ... my main problem was that "wow how did they screw this up so bad?"
"dislocated" is a good descriptor here, lol
See V is actually a Lovecraftian creature from the outer plane Xullixxxz. When light is shun on the hideous creature it reveals V's true chaotic and twisted form.
The fact that they changed this completely destroys in game continuity and lore.
