Legendary punknife crafting spec ?

I have played through the game multiple times and the vendor in pacifica has always had a legendary punknife crafting spec available but now when I'm playing a throwing build he only has up to tier 2, is that a level issue or am I just very unlucky now ?

That is probably a street cred issue. You can early levels and have t5 stuff at the vendors if yoy have level 50 street cred.

I'm only lvl 16 with 28 street cred. I usually visit here much higher level but wanted to rush for the spec.

Not sure if this bugs the vendor or not though and I should just load back and only visit later.

That is not enough cred to get t5 stuff on vendors.

If you find or buy an iconic throwable you can upgrade it through crafting all the way to 5++

Yeah but from my experience the crafted punkknife is the best due to the stats and having slots.

I have 45 street cred and the shop is still only selling the blue spec sadly so I guess I can't get it this playthrough.

yes it's coz ur lower level, but you can still upgrade it with mats and it's cheaper

The level of things bought in shops, including iconic weapons and crafting blueprints, are based on your current level. The iconic weapons can still be upgraded with crafting materials, as normal.

Level of items in shops is based on your character level. Some specific items have a cred minimum to be available and certain cred thresholds reduce your prices.

I'm not sure the level legendaries appear in stores but I know the general stock upgrades to purple around level 30. I know the rippers get purple cyberware at 30.

I had it wrong then, my bad. To be fair I always start a run hitting as much content as possible before the pickup mission though to collect shards, iconics, and cred. Never chased a t5 blueprint that early.
