Songbird didn't need to be saved from Hansen. She was the one who caused SF1 to crash into Dogtown, because she wanted to reach Cynosure - an AI in a bunker below Dogtown that she believes can cure the side effects of her using the Blackwall. She made a deal with Hansen to help him access the AI, but always intended to steal it.
Reed wants to bring Songbird back to Langley, because she is too unstable to let wander free. In this path, the plan would be to sedate or stabilise her, and then she would continue working for the FIA.
Songbird wants to run away from the FIA, because they (really President Myers) would force her to continue working with the Blackwall, which is what is causing her to lose her memory.
