3080 10Gb new driver improvement
I don't know if some else is experiencing this, but since I have not heard of it I want to share it. Since the new Transformer model came out, I have been experiencing something very weird, I'am gaming on 3440 X 1440 monitor with an RTX 3080 10 GB and With RTX on up to ultra, everything else is at maximum and DLSS is set to balanced. Before the transformer model, my fps was about 60 - 52 with lows of up to 45. This is still the case when you start the game, but here is the funny thing, switching from convolution model to Transformer takes fps a little bit lower with these same settings, but when I switch to convolution again,
something happens, the graphic quality does not degrade, at least to my eye, and now my fps is around 72 - 63 with lows of 59 and it shows in the gaming experience. First time I though this was some sort of glitch of the NVIDIA's over lay app, and that the frames were not real, but after trying this several times, I just feel my card just got an upgrade. Something important is that if you do the switch twice, everything goes to hell and the game starts to look worse of what it should. Pls let me know if somebody else is experiencing this, on this or other games. Either way, I just tough it'll be good to let people know, specially older card users that might benefit from this.
