Jackie's pistols

After the ofrenda, the pistols you can get from the table are Nue pistols, but Jackie never uses these. He used Omaha tech pistols in all missions before he dies.

I don't think they were an offering, because they aren't available until after the ofrenda, and you have to completely leave the area and come back. So either bro has guns in sets or it's an oversight.

I think they were an offering from someone who either placed them on the altar shortly after V leaves the bar or some point after by someone who couldn't make it to the ofrenda. Likely by a member of the Valentinos. For all we know these guns might have belonged to Jackie when he was in the Valentinos gang.

But that's all speculation of course.

It's kinda weird that there's two though, which is an iconic trait of Jackie is that he duel wielded. I could understand leaving one gun but two implies they belonged to Jackie to my mind. I feel like it's an oversight. It would be nice to have another Omaha. The only unique I know of that uses that model is Lizzie, which isn't a bad gun at all, but the skin's not my favorite.

the one you use as him in the flashbacks is different to the one you get later.
they look the same, but they do not have the same icon or abilites.
the memory of the gun is better than the real thing.

back before 2.0 dropped, i used the console to give myself his gun (for fits n giggles)
it had the same look as the real one, but it's icon was a simple revolver and it was OP.
like, i was around lvl5 or so and it was one shotting anything with or without a pulse.
kinda makes sense, Johnny was the Big Damn Hero in his head, so his gun would be OP and able to take out anyone.

maybe Jackie used different guns in game so he could do better (or worse)
also, anyone notice he's using those guns in Konpeki? when they were supposed to be in the safe in Delamain?

Well, keep in mind that the relic segments in which you play as Silverhand have some changes in the way the gun works solely to balance it a bit. Disallowing wall-banging makes it so you have to actually get creative to hit enemies in cover. Otherwise you'd just burn through these so fast it'd hardly be memorable. Johnny segments are structured pretty differently from the rest of the game, and so is the balancing. Good thing too.
Also, the memories you see aren't necessarily depicting events as they unfolded, but as Johnny remembers it, and with the chip being damaged, some data is corrupted. Which is acknowledged in the story as well. So it's like if you had a scratched CD that still runs without any noticeable degradation. It's undeniable there's damage to the disc and thus the data when you can see the scratch, yet in use shows no sign. It's basically that same principle when it comes to the memories.

I go outside and wait for the last Valentino gang member and his girl friend to drive away in there truck and then wait across the street for 24hours using wait and then re-enter El Coyote Cojo and the two jackie guns are on the tribute alter, and if you want to do the hero's bartender quest, go out side again and wait 24 hours, sometime's you have to wait 48 hours to start the bartenders quest

Crazy thing about those guns. You see him get them in the post tutorial montage, you see him use them in All Foods and somehow one last time in Konpeki Plaza.
I took many a close look during The Heist and those are definitively his Iconic guns.

Yeah, idk why there's so many uniques that share the same model and then vice versa for others. Like, the Omaha is arguably the coolest tech pistol other than the Quasar, but the Omaha only gets one unique, and the Quasar doesn't even have one afaik. Meanwhile the Nue and Liberty have like 2-3 unique variants each.
At least Phantom Liberty has the legendary mods, but considering you can only make one, and you probably want the explosive rounds, the wall penetrating mod for tech weapons might not be worth it to you. Hell I kinda didn't wanna use the heart for a mod at all, it looks cooler as a prop when it's glowing on the table.

I also think he gets them from the vendor in the short clip between the story intro and the first gig.
