Thinking about buying PC version to play with mods
It's been a long time since I used Nexus for anything is it pretty straightforward to download and install mods? Do I need a mod manager etc?

Also, for anyone with a heavily modded game, as a minimum I would be looking at mods to make NPC cyberware and clothing available to the play, and possibly anything that enhances character creation as well. Any particularly good ones? I've had a look and it seems there is a decent selection of these out there?

Ideally, mods would solve the biggest issue I have with the game; lack of third person. I see there is a third person mod out there that's well updated, but judging from the comments it's rather complicated to use. Anyone here gave it a whirl?

Most mods are literally just drag and drop into the game install folder and you don't have to do anything else, but there is an extension you can use to sort load order to resolve conflicts

Your best bet to see what your looking for is to get on the Cyberpunk Reddit and look at recommendations and absolute must haves like CET and such.

There are plenty of mods to do what you want, but you have to look for the right ones.

There's also 2 must have mods you'll want for sure, Equipment-EX and Cyberware-EX.

You're going to need them anyways, but equipment-ex lets you kinda like..put layers on your outfits that you cant do normally, its hard to explain. Cyberware-ex lets you buy more cyberware slots and ♥♥♥♥, like i have 3 OS installed so i can hack and super sandy at the same time and ♥♥♥♥ ya know?

Anyways, go to the CP2077 Reddit forums and look at what you need and look at suggestions as well.

Have fun.

Oh, and the Third person mod is ass, they're all ass. Stay away from them.

I have been using MO2 for Cyberpunk. Works great. Here is a link with plenty of information.

Thanks for the reply, much appreciated, I'll check out what you have suggested for sure.

Sad, but kind of predictable that the third person mod isn't great....
OP - save yourself grief & drop your mods in manually. Honestly.

Oh really? Mod managers and the like more hassle than they're worth?

Purely a personal opinion/based on just my experience & YMMV...
