Phantom Liberty not starting

I did the main quest line "transmission" and I still haven't gotten a call from songbird to allow me to start the dlc, please help!!!

Well as soon as you finish talking to Johnny it should start.

Verify your game files.

Play through again from the previous save and see if it triggers correctly.

Once you've progressed through the main story far enough, the quest will be ready to trigger, but you still won't get the call to start it until you actually travel to the general vicinity of Dogtown.

I got passed the required amount of missions through the main story and I never got a call, I did drive around dog town entirely and still nothing.

Never got the call after Johnny talks, I dont use mods, I did try to reload a save before exiting the thing with Alt and I still didnt get a call. Ill try the game files.

Have you verified if the DLC is properly installed? Did you by any chance had an old save that you started prior to the update and the DLC?

yes I did, its ok tho I got it figured out
