Cyberpunk won't play on pico 4
I can get the game to run from steam vr but it's in a theatre mode not vr.

When I am in virtual desk top the game is not listed.

Am I missing something as my half life alyx work just fine in vr as my other games in vr do.

Any feedback would be greatfully received I really wanted to play cyberpunk 2077 on vr.

Kind regards to all

Pico 4 is the vr head set. Cyberpunk is the game in theatre middle not vr when I start the game up

There no game details for cyberpunk 2077 on virtual desktop listing's. Am I missing something here! My other vr game is visible and works!

bowesy07,

I really don't think any kind of VR is available with this game. If there were, they would've listed it at the game's store page (here on Steam), but they haven't. VR is not mentioned at all at the store page. Steam Deck and other things are mentioned, but not VR.

I also don't see any mentioning of something called 'Pico 4', so I don't think that is available either.

Hope you figure out how to solve the problem you're having in your game play!

Hyperion,

Yes, I noticed this. Good initiative (merging the two threads).

Apoligies
A game either needs to be made for VR or must have a mod to make it compatible with VR.

In the case of neither of those, VR headsets that will show non-VR video will often default to a kind of flat display like theatre mode. This is what is happening here.

Luke Ross and VorpX are unofficial mods that have been reported to work with this game, but as always, there are quirks and a lot of manual configuring as the game was never intended to be VR.
You will need a VR mod to play. Vorpx for Cyberpunk 2077 is free. Or, there is Luke Ross VR. I'm using Vorpx and it is pretty good.

The mods use their own VR runtimes so don't run Steam VR (turn if off). Just install the mod and start the game normally.
