Stuck at loading screen after the new patch

The game is stuck at the loading screen after the new patch, and the loading bar is refusing to move. I never used any mod.

Can confirm the game worked when i used an ancient save from 2020, but is refusing to work on my save from a few days ago when i started phantom liberty

You might need to do a clean GPU driver install as some have stated here.

so i just finished downloading it on pc from steam. I hit play and steam says its running but the program doesn't start and no actions for it are in task manager. my gpu and cpu acting like theyre loading the game up but die back down to regular idle from my desktop. im about to do a reinstall of m,y drivers since i downloaded the nvidia app today to upgrade from geforce experience. any suggestion pls let me know :)

Playing vanilla, I tried launching it 4 times now. Got to the menu screen one time, and it was not able to load saves from the cloud.

Verifying file integrity managed to make it work.

I tried VERIFYING FILE INTEGRITY and also deleting the USERSETTING.JSON in C:\Users\Jonat\AppData\Local\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077. It still crashed. I fixed it by using the NVIDIA APP and using the OPTIMIZE button. I verified it was stable and working before I started making adjustment to graphics within the game. Hope this helps.

i think new download and update since yesterday screwed up the nvidia optimization. it finally worked after i restarted and tried to optimize the game on nvidia app. besides playing with the settings to low ray tracing or anything without ray tracing was the game loading and playable. the main issue i thinkl for me is that the nvidia app didnt recognize i had cyberpunk downloaded. been able to play for the last 6hrs closing and restarting with no issues. hope this helps

deleting usersetting.json works for me on nobara linux 41. But if i activate frame generation it happans again. it does not matter if i use the new transformer model or not :(
