DLSS 4 disappointing

the image improved a bit, but the FPS dropped. even by 10 fps or more. is it just me who feels that the image has been worsened on the CNN DLSS?

Can't speak to the 40 series but the override is in the Nvidia app for my 5080 at least. It's a game by game override as well, nothing global

5080 lost 2fps with the transformer model at 4K with DLSS on balanced with path tracing:

3080ti here. Playing 1440p dlss performance with new dlss. Running almost everything max settings with pathtracing and getting 55-60fps walking around town at night. Try running game on performance mode and not ultra performance and image quality looks really good compared to dlss 3 on quality.

Or not, you never know what will and will not be fixed with driver updates. No one is drawing definitive conclusions here, though, at least i'm not. I just get the feeling this will be improved with time.

No problems in Cybperunk, even in Ultra Performance.
