The seedy trashy city that basically surrounded by a massive rubbish dump. It's just so dystopian and immersive.
This game is better then Witcher 100%
Firstly, V moves like Frankensteins Monster with great Elephantesque footsteps. Secondly, if I pump 30 rounds from an LMG in to a guys upper torso with multiple headshots, I find it immersion breaking when he starts shooting back.
Other than that, love it.
Well lucky you. I was rather unhappy, since the game is more like an interactive movie, the choices you do have minimal impact and your actions just move you to another cutscene that is more or less the same no matter what you do.
The visuals are stunning, but in most cases they are just empty decorations. All the small shops are closed, people are nothing but moving objects, etc., etc.
But I liked how the toons move, both outside and in combat, I liked the weapon design, I liked the clothing, a lot of good things killed by the fact that the story designer does not like games and wants to do movies, probably something dark, cruel and nihilistic, where evil ultimately prevails, all resistance is futile and the bad will torture, abuse and murder the weak. Not a surprise really since this theme was already pretty strong in Witcher 3.
- And I'm around 50 - I've played it all.
Ditto, although I'm 54
