Beat on the brat & gigs
I've read numerous times online that some gigs will require you to kill the target you need to fight in the quest Beat on the Brat.
I just got a gig "For my Son" and the arena seems similar to a boxing area I've had before. I really hate tip-toeing quests because I might ruin my entire save file if I don't do them in the exact order the developers intended which isn't telegraphed anywhere.
Is it safe for me to do this gig?

There aren't any gigs that require you to kill a Beat On The Brat opponent, but the target for For My Son is in the same building as Rhino, so you can end up killing her by accident quite easily if it goes loud. It's not terribly difficult to snipe him from outside his office with minimal involvement from other Animals though, and if you do alert them in the process of killing him, they'll go back to neutral after 48hrs.

I beat her already luckily before starting this gig. Are there any similar quests / side quests that soft-locks you like this?

There's only the one Beat On The Brat boxing fight where you can kill your opponent, and doing so is optional (assuming you don't pull it off by accident).
This mission is taking place in the exact, same, location as that boxing match. But the person you're here to kill isn't the one you punched up and taking out the building doesn't have any impact on that.

As to the other issue you mentioned.
There is no "exact order the developers intended". This is why you can't find such a thing telegraphed anywhere, because it was never there to begin with.
This game doesn't even have a single official ending.
You are as free to go in quietly and take everyone out non lethally, as you are guns blazing with an LMG that fires explosive rounds, as you are to hack them up with blades, as you are to hack the security and set them on fire them without ever entering the building, as you are to collect a fleet of bikes remote drive them all inside and try to blow everyone up with them.

The closest you get to the "order the developers intended" would be any quests that won't even be available until you've done the one that comes before it. Which takes care of itself as you literally can't do them out of order.

If that was true, I would be able to go back to that place, have rhino not be aggressive or even have her respawn later and do my quest but that's not the case. There are consequences to playing carelessly and not in the right order. Therefor I'm asking once again, Do you know any other side quests that softlock others assuming you don't tip-toe it? If so then I'd love to know before I continue further.

In theory a certain gig not done quietly enough may break that fight. I have never done that gig before beat the brat though so I can't say for certain. Hell they don't even get mad about a certain fight blowing up in the opponents face.

Thinking about it I am probably wrong. It let me do the GIM fight before I did the vdb story mission.

The fact you can do it that way around proves that the Devs intended for some people to do it that way around.
These aren't "consequences of playing carelessly", just the result of one of the many paths the Devs intended for any number of players to take. Whether by accident or intent.

Your brain is gona pop (hopefully in a good way) when you realise the racing quest has three different ways it can end, all of them are correct and fully account for the players actions, but only one of them involves crossing the finish line.

From what I've read, not boxing her will make it so the quest will just be on hold and never complete.

Nevertheless, I was more interested in the racing part you wrote, I'll look up online at some guides before doing those. Much appreciated!

There is only 3 times beats on the brats overlap with the main world, and/or you are at risk in killing them.
-Ozob, due to using a grenade for a nose. As such it's suggested to either do his own quest before or don't punch the grenade
-The 6th street guy in arroyo. If you up the bet to include his sniper rifle, or provoke him after the fight, you will need to fight him, potentially killing him.
-Rhino (the animal woman ? I think it's her name ?). She share the same area for the fight than for a gig where you need to assassinate some other animals. If you fight the animals for the gig, she'll join them.

Out of those, the first 2 will count as a victory anyway, for the 3rd I have no idea, I avoid killing her.
