I have 212 mods installed, (48 gameplay the rest clothing) never used the ingame mod manager (also, majority of mods are not compatible with it) .
Frankly, just head to nexusmods, read the mods description and install them manually. All mods have instructions on how to do it.
Also safer than use Vortex (which is a good manager but not for all the games) that in this specifc game sometimes on core mods (CET, ReD4ext etc) tend to mess up when they update
If you're not confident with updating the core mods you can just Disable > Uninstall > Delete, and install the core mods again via Vortex. There should be no issue with other ordinary mods.
Check your game files and look a the 'mods' folder. If there's nothing in there, you don't have any RedMods installed.
