Don't think the Relic nodes can cause the deaths, tho they might drive you mad from the noise lol.
Hasan will be there on one of the two floors, on a mattress. He's lost his eye as the ripper screwed him over. He's pissed off, depressed and doing substances/brain dances.
He's usually over near a corner where there is a barrel fire and iirc he's kinda hard to see as there is a barrier between you and him, those waist high rusty yellow ones.
And it's Kress not Kess. Named after President Elizabeth Kress, the sitting president during the AHQ disaster.
You can mention it to Myers and she's a bit salty over the fact Kress got a street named after her.
Totally forgetting that it's in Dogtown, the place even the hopeless don't want to go to die.
Regarding Hasan, can you actually talk to him? Like does he acknowledge the situation and have dialogue, or is it just if you happen to notice the NPC design and model and go "oh hey, that random dude is Hasan" ?

One of Hands' gigs. There's a small non-Dogtown part to it as well. Ties in with some of the PL endings
