The new 572. 70 drivers are kick ass a very big improvement on the older drivers. I highly recommend you go get them released on the 5th of March,
I'm using the game ready drivers and loving them.

agreed, performance with my 3080 was taking massive dips on Avowed ultra settings with raytracing.. This new driver, made a massive boost in performance for some reason.

Ye.. i lost about 15 fps overall (used to have 134 to 150 fps with PT, ultra and psycho settings) in 3440x1440 on a 4090.
New driver, i average between 110 and 125 now.
I don't care, mind me, just pointing out it's not "that" great as you said.

Could it be that you're comparing this from DLSS 3 to DLSS 4? Because DLSS 4's quality looks better but is more taxing than the quality of DLSS 3.. But Balanced DLSS 4 looks as good as, if not better than DLSS 3 quality, with better performance.

Yep, but games is crashing after reset :( No problems from drivers before 5xxx launch.

Hehe, I was just wondering what GPU you used because the latest drivers have affected me negatively. Tanked my FPS into the 40s in some parts of the game from my average 60s. I may be rolling back later today. :)

I was wondering if it's because my old GPU is not really getting anymore support these days (1080TI @1080p). So it's high time for an upgrade but the market is currently insane.

I had enough money for a 4090 set aside back in October and was so ready to get one, but everyone kept telling me to hold off until the 50 series arrived. Ended up being a big mistake. :s

Now I'd have to slap an additional $800 to $1k for a 4090, that I could have had for $2000 in October '24. It irks me so much that I'm sort of thinking about dialing back gaming as a hobby for a while. Haven't had much interest to play anything else except Cyberpunk anyways. I just really hate what the GPU market has become.

I'd be happy to break it down further for you, so you're not confused.
I think you're reading too deeply into what I said earlier and also putting words into my mouth. I never said anything about "stop gaming". I said dialing back. (aka slowing down the frequency)

Affordability isn't the problem, my choom.

The salt I feel is towards learning that I've missed the boat of opportunity to attain something at a reasonable cost, or in this case, an already expensive cost and now face the possibility (if I end up succumbing to current demands) of having to shell out more money because I chose to listen to people's advice to hold off.
I blame myself entirely for that. haha.

The idea of scaling back my gaming activity for the time being could be beneficial to help circumvent this annoyance for a while, especially with what I have rolling down the pipepline for mid '25 and early 2026. It's going to be a very busy year.

Anyways, my apologies for straying off topic or causing confusion.
This is about the latest drivers and I was simply responding to Qwuick's input on gpus.

Have you installed a mod to skip the intros? If so, then delete the “basegame_no_intro_videos” file from “Steam\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077\archive\pc\mod”. That fixed it for me.

The 572.70 drivers are working well for me [RTX-4080 Super].

I also notice the NVIdia app has been upgraded and is now able to optimize GPU settings for CP2077.

572.75 hotfix drives fixed black screens for me
