For the next Cyberpunk game
I will wait 4 years to buy and play it.

Why pay full price for a beta version at launch? I sure learned my lesson.

Yeah i clocked in around 300 hours on the game and got all the achievements, i really had fun with it, but back at launch i was p off how they handled this game.

Now after all this time they keep updating the game with new features which, don't get me wrong, is great, good for them to keep supporting it.

But why pay full price for a beta when you can just wait until they completely finish development and pay a fraction of what the suckers at launch paid?

Excatly!
. Unfortunatly its a thing for nearly every game released these days when they come out they are not finished.
I personally find it annoying and sloppy.
Thats why i dont buy games on release any more.
I dont want to play half baked games and i have no desire to return to a game 3-4 years later because a new dlc comes out.

Not touching the next CP77 game until ~2 years after release.

Because you Are/Want to be a content creator, have severe FOMO, or are just really into the setting.

I dont know, i bought my copy of a holiday sale after release. Some people just are dogs chasing cars.....

Looks like that selling a sw product in pre open beta status for a full if not quite a bloated price became a common practice recently. And they will keep doing it until the customers stop paying. You are often paying to be a part of an open beta test. Testers are expensive so why to pay them if the player community can do the testing for you and even pay for it?
