It's not a small increment, all considered, especially at higher levels of difficulty.
It’s not easy to proc by any means, but I think it’s worthy: at least, my sandevistan sniper with a nekomata deals a lot of good damage with it. I would suggest using the sound of the charging weapon to learn the tempo of your shots. At least, it is what worked for me.
So you're telling me I have to release LMB in a time frame of roughly 0.06 seconds? When the shot is almost fully charged. WHAT???
Who thought the bolt mechanic? How is this humanly possible?
That's the Satara double-barrel shotgun. It's pretty powerful even without the Bolt capability. Many of the weapons in the game require some use and practice to learn to use to their best effectiveness.
Tech weapons, in general, are extremely powerful to the point that all other weapons become irrelevant. They ignore armor on bolt shots, deal damage to multiple enemies with chain lightning and can punch through walls, allowing you to use optical camo instead of grenades without losing the ability to effectively hit enemies hiding behind cover.
Combine tech weapons with "Stalker" or "Oracle" Kiroshis that allow you to see through walls, Cellular Adapter and Electromag Recycler cyberware for best effect. In terms of attributes, I advise to go max Cool and max Technical Ability and max out both the Pistol/Rifle and Tech weapons perk trees. For an efficient weapons loadout, I advise the Burya revolver or Omaha pistol for use in close quarters coupled with the Widowmaker precision rifle for close-medium range and the Nekomata sniper rifle for long range.
I know! XD
Tech Sniper with a Sandevistan is one of my 3 Very Hard builds and the second fastest to clear the end boss. The damage output is very nice, especially with equalizer and wallpuncher mods, plus microgenerator cyberware in the hands. (but I didn't want to brag it).
Ehh... fastest clear on very hard for me was with a netrunner. Poor endboss melted with its brain fleeing its ears.
Most fun tho, was probably with a shotgunner: once heavies with HMG begun to gift me their weapons, we were 2 'borgs jumping around in bullet time, both trying to nuke the other. I won because of controlling hacks. XD
Overclock… overclock is your deamons in a bottle.
Dual damaging standard combo, pop overclock, spam synapse burnout.
It literally melts in less than 10 seconds.
