Also male V can`t date Judy and has to settle with desert hag Panam (as you can guess not a big fan of Panam, lol).
Which background would you guys recommend for Female V? I read a lot of folks online seem to think Corpo fits her VA better.
Both Street Kid and Corpo fit pretty good for female V imho.
My favorite path for female V are street kid and corpo. For male V, either street kid or nomad. :)
I think as far as voice acting, both Cherami and Gavin did a great job with their roles.
street kid for me absolutely
People tend to favor Male V as nomad more because there's Panam and female V as corpo or sk because Judy. But again I prefer the opposite, female as nomad and male as corpo.
As for missing anything, don't worry about that. The only differences are that female can romance River (boring) and Judy, while male can romance Panam and Kerry.
Also, corpo lifepath have the most unique dialogue options during the game.
Nomad have the most boring dialogue choices - "Hey, you knew I've used to ride with the Bakers?" to which every NPC will answer with "Didn't ask" or "Cool, anyway".
Streetkid isn't much better, but at least there's some options that will allow avoiding danger.
Honestly you're so right about being a Nomad, everytime I took the option, nobody gave a f*ck.
Such a subjective and loaded question I feel I HAVE TO ANSWER.
Male V really nailed it for me, especially after reading Neuromancer by William Gibson, I basically read that entire book with male V's voice in my head.
If you haven't read the book you're missing out btw.
Male Streetkid is the best when dealing with everyone else in the game.
So there is really no good answer as opposed to personal preference. I didn't really feel Nomad (Either) really added anything to the game. Again thats my personal take on it.
Not really sure I answered the question but I hope every little bit helps.
Edit: Forgot the No in no good answer.
