Big pinch of salt with this.
that could mean an anime type of thing for the anime edgerunners...............yea no nothing there makes me think of a dlc for cyberpunk 2077.
That's,Why I have questions. Hey DLC2 but WHAT?
As you can see, there is very little in the way of solid, concrete information about the specifics of the collab. All we know is that it exists.
Three things we need to address:
1. This collaboration pertains to Cyberpunk Edgerunners and not Cyberpunk 2077. I’m not trying to split hairs here or argue over petty semantics as there is a significant difference between a collaboration between Cyberpunk 2077, the game and Cyberpunk Edgerunners, the show. Edgerunners is the one receiving a collaboration with WW, not 2077 which conveniently leads me to the second point.
2. Since it’s a collaboration between Edgerunners (the show) and Wuthering Waves, there is no expectation that 2077 (the game) will receive any sort of content update. It is maybe possible that 2077 may receive something but I wouldn’t expect anything beyond some new outfits/clothes or at best, a few weapons. This is, of course, assuming that 2077 will receive anything at all which, mind you, is not a guarantee in itself.
3. Again, I’m genuinely not trying to split hairs or argue semantics but CDPR has made a very clear distinction when using the terms “DLC” and “expansion”. I know most people use these terms interchangeably but I want you all to remember that things like Phantom Liberty are considered “expansions” while the term “DLC” is reserved for smaller content updates (such as clothes, weapons, one-off new quests and etc). With that being said, I can say with the utmost confidence that
