Disappointing performance on 5070 TI
We've built my friend a new pc with 5070 TI, ryzen 9700x and other stuff. He has 2k Oled monitor and when we installed the game i cranked up everything to maximum invluding RT + PT. Enabled frame generation and dlss.

I ran the benchmark test and it was 35fps never reaching 40. Then i disabled path tracing, it went up to 40-50. I disabled ray tracing completely and it finally went abive 60fps.

I was planning to upgrade to a 2k monitor with the same gpu but i think it's a worthless upgrade if you can't even run the game with 60+ fps with at least Ray Tracing

spend everything on gpu - forgot about good ssd?
5090 barely hits 60fps in 2K native with PT, what do you expect from 70ti
Well you bought a 5xxx.. probably without knowing that unless you have the 5090, they all worse than the 4090 (and even the 5090 is just 17% better)
Sure you can use the MFG 4x to boost your fps, but it will just generate a ton of ghosting and looks just bad.

I'm ok with MFG and "fake frames" but that didn't even help enough either.
Something weird is happening there as I'm getting better performance than that on a 4070 ti super WITHOUT frame gen with DLSS on quality, at 1440. These sound more like numbers you'd get without DLSS.

I'm assuming this isn't a modded game. Try disabling overlays from any other applications. Double check power profile in case Windows has been set to some sort of eco mode by mistake.

Something is not right there as with RT and FSR4, my 9070xt is getting over 100 FPS at 4k.

Looks great on my GTX 1060. Graphics peaked years ago, honestly dont understand why people chase 20k 999fps rag doll ♥♥♥♥ shadow effect graphics, when the low settings on most new games is amazing.

more im wonder why i have budget 4060 gpu, playing on ultra (no pt on) and never notices fps drop, but guys with 5090 card stil have any issuses with it. Drivers or what?
The 50xx rely on daft AI technology to get ''good'' performance, worst cards Nvidia has ever released.

A 4090 only gets like 35fps at those settings, and your card is half as powerful. What exactly did you expect to happen?

What are you talking about? The OP says they're running 1440 with DLSS on. The performance they're seeing is not normal.

My pc can run 1440p max grap raytracing with 40+ mod 80fps. R7 5700x3d, Msi 3x 3080, 32gb 3200mhz ram and m2 ssd.

Yeah I had a brain fart and read 2k as 4k. Guessing what the problem might be is nearly impossible but the "we built a PC" doesn't fill me with confidence.

Something is off for sure, with a 4080 I get 75fps with everyhting cranked, path tracing etc at 5120 x 1440
something is off, you may have missed something, that card can do over 100 maxed with pt
