Steam Deck?
How does the game play on it? I'm thinking of asking for a Steam Deck for my birthday, and I want to know how well the game plays on it.

From what I can remember of seeing other people ask this question I believe the answer is:
"Yes, but you'll likely want to put all the settings on minimal to keep it working."

On the Steam Deck graphics preset it runs pretty well, although I personally limit the framerate to 30FPS and reduce the TDP to around 8-10 for battery life as uncapped TDP and FPS will drain battery further + 30FPS is fine for a handheld running such a massive open world and graphically demanding game. It'll bounce between 30 and 45ish FPS depending on area and could drop lower but having it capped at 30FPS with some motion blur feels pretty good and lower graphics don't look bad at all as its on a lower resolution smaller portable display rather than a big TV.

Perfectly playable but I'd suggest playing at home with a charger nearby, in a public place with access to a charger or out and about but only with a very large portable battery which has a high enough output to actually charge your device while playing a game which requires as much power as it does. You'll need to use a 45W charger like the one the Steam Deck came with or else you'll likely only be supplying enough power to delay its inevitable death. Seriously. Even with optimizing battery life by limiting FPS, screen brightness and TDP I'm still getting about 1.5-2 hours out of the steam deck for Cyberpunk at best.

Runs well, don't expect much battery life. Excellent to play Cyberpunk in bed though.

It runs surprisingly well, but it you are using it as a handheld device, you are limited to the control scheme of a controller, and 30-40 FPS, neither of which feel great when it comes to shooters.
I would highly suggest looking at getting a Legion Go instead, I am running Cyberpunk Ultimate edition with over 300 mods on all high settings, 1600p in game resolution and 1000p on the Legion Go with Lossless Scaling x3 and getting 75fps.

I was going to get a Steam Deck until I saw my friends and it just wasn't powerful enough, now my friend also got a Legion Go. Steam Deck has better battery but sooner or later, you will be tethered to a charger also.
