Is this game is still glitchy and buggy?
Im kinda thinking of taking this game now, but ehh, i dont like buggy and glitchy games tbh. I remember when i started playing it and i didnt finished it.
So worth now, or there is still exploding cars, dissapearing npc or cars? Or cant start or complete a mission?

It still has a few bugs here and there but it's worlds better than it was at release.

Never been, only those unable to reach 60 FPS experienced glitches and bugs.
Those with decent pc, had only minor not gamebreaking annoying ones.

Yes/ no. Still running into bugs and major balance issues on some quests. I'm talking a boss suddenly doing 10 times normal damage during phase 2. You gotta turn down the difficulty to easy for that one. Or cheese it with a pillar.

Another boss teleporting outside of an arena then teleporting back in to insta kill you.

A forced pistol turret section with very powerful enemies. This fight might be possible with very specific builds, not sure.

Cars STILL disappear when looking at them. It's so stupid. It looks so broken. It will never be fixed. It is still exactly the same as in those meme videos. Go on a big highway, pull out your sniper, look at the cars coming from the distance and they vanish when getting too close. They are just 2D sprites.

NPCs SOMETIMES disappear around you. I'm not sure what causes them to do so. I guess if the zone you are in is too overcrowded. The bug where you shoot one bullet in a crowded place, do a 360 and everyone disappears is still here.

Quest scripts sometimes don't trigger at all. You need to reload a previous save and hope this time the scripts will work.

An NPC (Claire) fails to drive back home with you in the car after every street race. The only option is to skip the ride back home.

Stealth overall feels like a half baked after thought. This isn't Splinter Cell. This isn't even Far Cry. Stealth is just... bad. Especially if you wish to try a non lethal approach like in Deus Ex.

The RPG mechanics are tacked on and lame. Your skills are meaningless during conversations. You just get some extra flavor text. You can't kill major NPCs. This isn't Fallout New Vegas where you can perform surgery on Caesar yourself if your medical skill is high enough.

Some weapons and perks feel poorly balanced.

Tech weapon bolt shots for example. Some weapons charge up in 0.25 seconds (0.2 with the perk). You need to release between 75% and 99% charge to trigger a bolt (more damage). This leaves you with a window of 0.05 seconds to release. Absolutely insane inhuman reactions are required to make use of this perk on most tech weapons.

Byakko iconic katana attacks insanely fast, making most content trivial on max difficulty. So fast and so much damage it feels like a game breaking bug. A 4 year old one.

It's still a fun dumb game. And it can look great at times (if you have the PC for it). It has the driving and listening to the radio vibe of a GTA game. And the dumb looter shooter action of Borderlands. There's also a story. It's... average I guess? I don't play video games for the story. Movies and TV shows for the story. Don't remember much. Got side tracked with side content.

Not as broken as it was, but there is still some overall jankiness in combat, especially in melee combat (you can be several metres away and still get hit).

Also some funny clipping bugs here and there, like a piece of railing clipping into the tire of my car and launching me into the air....

Sometimes NPCs get stuck.

But the game is much better than it was, no crashes or gamebreaking bugs (so far in my playthru)—those that you might experience are mostly just funny.

A lot depends on your hardware and setup...esp. your GPU. I would describe any remaining bugs/glitches as trivial, but I have a pretty high-end PC.

I don't think I've faced any issues or bugs yet. I mean there were some exploding cars here and there but even that I'm not sure if it's a gang fight or what. I had doubts like you at first, and at least for the first hour of the game. But then I went on with the story and all the side quests and I was hooked, it was immersive as ♥♥♥♥!

Not quite true. The game still has minor bugs to this day (i got the "can't save" bug just a few days ago, that one still happens every now and again).

It used to be very jank things, like your character suddenly T-posing out of your cars roof... minus pants, for whatever reason. That one was pretty noticable, and kinda funny.
That bug also happened on beefy rigs.

Now it's more minor glitches, like sometimes when you talk to an NPC, the FOV forgets to zoom back out again. Or you finish a mission, and suddenly the minimap is stuck in "Danger" mode, even though there's not an enemy for miles.

Little things that can usually be solved with a quick F5 followed by an F9.

But lemme put it this way OP: Ever played a Bethesda game? Any Bethesda game? Cyberpunk in it's current state is far less glitchy than that. It's not 100% bug free, but it's rock solid compared to something like Skyrim or Fo4.
