Did they fix this horrible game from launch or is it just the developer fanboys praising it?
I hated The Witcher 1,2 and 3 and thought they all suffered from the same issues of bad combat, mediocre graphics and really terrible animation and physics etc. I really did not get the hype around them, they're like Bioware to me, so much hype and yet their games were just plain bad.

However Cyberpunk came out and EVERYONE hated it! For once I thought graphically they made a game that looked great, but everything around it was plain bad. The story sucked, the missions were not fun, the physics were non existent and the AI was so bad! Police would just spawn behind you and the world just felt so static. The biggest issue for me was how you couldn't do basic things that had been done in GTA for 20+ years. The water wouldn't react to you, you couldn't break windows or car tyres and all the details like that which GTA V does so well.

Is all that fixed now? Does the game have actual physics that react to you and is the AI smart now?

Recommend Youtube to watch current Gameplay. Because it looks like you skipped ALOT of changes in the last years.
And not EVERYONE hated it. It was mostly Console Players^^ Because the Game Engine didnt liked the Console.

I played it at launch on my PC, but the game was so bare bones and broken. However I watch videos but no one focuses on stuff I like in a game like AI and physics. I always want to be able to complete missions in odd ways like in GTA, I do not want to be forced to do them a certain way like RDR2 which I also hated.

All the videos I see of it do not cover this stuff. Always about loot and customisation and new story content and I'm not bothered about any of that.

Then in short, yes you can flatten tires if you shoot them. Yes, if you shoot Car windows, they will break after a few shots. It doesnt make much sense in the Game, but you can do it.
In case the Police gets a bit to annoyed and a police car follws me, i simply hack them to stop or accelerate their Car, so they cant follow anymore. Then i just wait until they calm down.
In fact, if you find the GASH grenade (spinning Laser grenade) and throw it at a Car, you can observe how the Car gets more and more damaged.

Most missions just give you a Goal and dont care how you do them (not being noticed is sometimes a bonus goal, but that just means that you prevent that someone alarms the others).
So if you grab someone from behind, brealing their neck, or turn them into swiss cheese, thats up to you. But being loud will probably alarm others.
Mainstory tasks have some requirements, but thats normal.
The AI.... hmmm... could be smarter, sometimes the NPCs behave a bit too skittish for my taste.
But the informed Gamer probably knows, that Enemy AI is dumbed down by default for many, many Years. Would the Enemy AI not be limited, most Players (in very much every game) would die constantly. So its hard to answer NPC AI-related questions.

He's a private, and I tell ya whort - he's foist klass.
Tha F you talking about dude?
Feels more like biased passive-agressive rant than a question.
You don't even own the game on Steam.

Totally subjective and who gives a flying F how you feel about that? What does this have to do with Cyberpunk?

Ohhh, I get it. You are one of those :D....
Cyberpunk and The Witcher 3 went down as one of the most commercial successful games in history(Cyberpunk 35 million copies/Witcher 3 over 50 million copies), enjoyed by everyone and their mothers, but just because you can't wrap your little head around that fact, it becomes suddenly overhyped and "plain bad"

Again, misinformation. It had some hiccups for console players but everything was fixed within weeks. The majority of PC players didn't had any gamebreaking bugs.
If everyone hated it, it wouldn't have sold so many times and got high scores by Metacritic and all the other major video-game reviewers.
You are just repeating the stuff folks were saying a few years ago. Too late to the party I guess.....

Since you allegedly "own" this game, why don't you start it and find out for yourself instead of ranting garbage about something, which you've obviously have no clue of.

I swear to god some people.......
Makes you almost lose faith in humanity.

A lot of your comments is just plain wrong. "EVERYONE hated it!" No... not at all...

Issues at launch yeah sure... for those who had a low end pc. People crying in the forums having issues with a pc under the minimum specs or barely above it trying to play on ultra settings...
Bugs in the game, I don't have any so I'd say the game is fine.

GTA 5 gives you 2 options to complete a mission. Plan A or Plan B and you are a little restricted on what you can do, where as cp77 is, "go do this" and you can figure out how you want to approach it. Hack, sneak, guns blazing, or a combination of them all.
I feel there is more freedom to complete more missions your way than GTA ever had.

CP77 is a great game, the DLC is really good!!

If you only do the main story, it will feel short. But if you want a full game, do all the gig/side missions, NCPD, cyberpsycho, and just walk around listening to people chat. They tell their own little stories. Read the shards you pick up for either information about Night City, story, or for fun.

Panam, part of your main mission, then after is an optional story line. It's an actual story line and not a quick "thanks for helping" and then never hear from them again like most games. I'm really surprised that this extra mission wasn't a DLC.

Choices also matter in the game. Don't talk to this person, then they won't be an option for help later.

AI is decent enough. If you really want it hard, play it on the hardest difficulty level.
Physics is good as well.
It's not the most advanced thing in the world, but it's good enough for a game. I have over 1000 hours of game time so I'm ok with the game's ai and physics.
I cannot take people seriously if they're not gong to admit the game came out and was a disaster. I was there, I got a refund myself on gog it was so bad. If people are going to rewrite history and act like none of that happened, I'm just going to ignore their comments.

Maybe if you work at your job as hard as you are trying to troll here, you could afford a proper gaming pc that would have had no issues.

I was there as well... as were a lot of other people and didn't find it a "disaster" so your experience doesn't mean that we all had it. Why would anyone "admit" to anything they didn't experience?

Did the game have issues? Yes.. as doesn't 99% of the games that come out...

Got nothing to do with my PC or performance, the game was just bad. But forget it the fanboys are out in force, wont get a proper answer here.

Lets calm down everyone, okay?
I dont think that his Account would list a Game, if he refunded it. Especially on another Platform.

@Jeffrey i gave you an Answer. Is that remotely close to what you asked about? If not, you have to be more specific.
EVERY Game has Bugs. Bugs get patched, new ones sneak in. The bigger the Game, the more potencial for Bugs.
Between your first install and now, several YEARS passed. What do you think? Did they fixed Bugs, that primarily affected Consoles in the Beginning?

Funny how these People always show up at Christmas every year Bashing games unreasonable. Its almost like there paid to steer people away from buying certain games.
I know myself been a businessman my whole life I would pay people to bash certain games in the hopes that they buy my game instead.
Got's to make me sum dat money. I've been a steam member for close to 19 years and its the same every Christmas.

You clearly came here looking for a fight, especially with your title of "Did they fix this horrible game from launch...".

You didn't do any research of your own and you assume that everyone had the same issue(s) as you did. You claim it's not your pc, but I think it was as mentioned by my previous post

Am I a fan of the game, absolutely. Will I call out any issues with the game, absolutely. Does this game still have some issues, sure it does, but they don't break the game. Since day 1 of launch, I've crashed twice. Once was due to the game itself, the other was a bug which I reported and it got fixed in the next patch.

The AI is not "artificial intelligence" like people seem to think it is. It's algorithms and switches like games have been forever. IF this happens, THEN do this.

GTA 6 is said to have actual AI in it and more realistic physics. Hopefully it does and becomes the new base standards for all AAA games. But.. apparently that won't be till late 2026 for pc.

So, to start over and to answer your initial question. Yes, the game is way better than first launch. But, in my opinion, I would avoid the game if I were you. You seem to have already judged it and won't be happy no matter what.
