Still no option to center the hud on Ultrawide? Seriously?

I pre-ordered and immediately refunded this game at launch after eagerly awaiting it for years and now I'd really like to give it another chance but I simply cannot buy it again without an option to make the hud centered on ultrawide. I play at 6040x1080 and I can't play games that don't center the hud because constantly looking away from the center to find hud information on the far left and far right kills my immersion in the game as well as my neck/eye muscles.

Really disappointed by this game (again). I was certain that a title like 2077 that is so tremendously technically advanced and with so many years of patches surely would have finally added this simple feature that should have been available at launch. Other top tier games almost always have this feature, so it boggles my mind that 2077 STILL does not. I wanted to give it another chance after that unforgettable launch but I guess I have to wait another year or five.

Maybe look for nexus mod. If such feature are really demanded, here must be some mod to do that.

I already saw that HUDITOR will probably do what ultrawide requires but I should not have to mod the game to get basic functionality. If they don't natively support ultrawide then there are almost certainly other non-HUD ultrawide issues I'll run into further on and there's nothing I hate more than paying for a game, playing it for a number of hours, and THEN having something technical break the game and force me to stop.

So it actually does have a hud safe zone after all? I had not bought it again yet so I couldn't check for myself. Thanks for the info that Google searching failed to give me. I couldn't find this information anywhere and not a single Youtube video of ultrawide shows a centered hud. Cheers.

Ultrawide Screens are still very niche, so most Games are obviously not optimised for them.
Basic economic decision.

6040x1080? What kind of Screen is that? Tried to find something fitting online to imagine the screen, but failed. Sounds like pretty unique Hardware, no wonder that the Support for it is limited.

The OP clearly spoke about ultrawide, not a multi monitor setup, so my Question is understandable. ultrawide Monitors do exist, just none with that dimension (atleast to my knowledge). The possibility of a rare and expensive Screen was still there.

Such wide Screens are often used for Flight- or Spacegames. Such knowledge could be useful in the future.

The 2 most used Screen resolutions have currently 75,73% total. Your mentioned Resolution is Rank 7.... after "other" with 2,79%. If its differently in your Zone, thats nice for you.... but its currently NOT the majority.

Ultrawide is the new 3D TV, impractical, uncomfortable to look at, but people bought into it because new tech and price equals quality.
